From my residence in Mumbai, I left for the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport, Mumbai. I had been out of Maharashtra many times due to travel reasons. But I was going for the first time for a job. I was so excited. Going to new places, communicating with new people, visiting historical, religious, and other touristic places, and learning the local culture, art, and traditions, all these were my interests and broadened my wanderlust.

There was only one regret, Sahyadri. I was going away from the Sahyadri mountains. I was not sure after how many months or years I would come back and until then I would not be able to do Pravas in the Sahyadris. This should be the case for everyone who carries both responsibility and dreams.

Soon the plane took off in the sky. In a moment, we were on the Arabian Sea. The plane turned around and headed towards Uttar Pradesh. At least once I will have the sight of the Sahyadri mountains. My eyes were only looking at the Sahyadri mountains, peaks, and mountain forts.

And the moment came. I saw a scene that I had never imagined. Many forts and peaks were visible near the Matheran hill range. As these peaks are saying goodbye to me by raising their heads from the clouds. A golden moment in my life.

Keeping this celestial form of Sahyadri in my mind, I fell asleep peacefully for the next two hours. Reached Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport in Lucknow.
Pravas in Lucknow
From the airport, first by metro and then by rickshaw, I reached the hotel arranged by the company for a few days.

After a few days, I rented a room and started staying at Tedhipuliya. Being alone, whenever I could find time from work, I would take a walk around the nearby places. One can travel here by electric vehicle at very affordable rates. A market was held every morning near my house.

I used to taste the different types of food made in nearby places while touring. The most tasteful dish I had was "Litti Chokha", a famous dish of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Amazing taste and fills up your stomach with 2-3 littis.

After a few days, my first Pravas was in Lucknow when I visited the Imambara and nearby tourist places.
